Blue Tigers Judo Club proudly held its 2026 Belt Ceremony at the Sports Hall of Al Egla Compound in Lusail, bringing together students, families, and coaches to celebrate the progress achieved throughout the year.
The club was honored by the presence of Ms. Maki Yamaguchi, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Japan in Qatar, who kindly distributed the new belts to the promoted judokas. Her participation added a special significance to the event and highlighted the strong connection between judo and its Japanese roots.
The ceremony was not limited to the awarding of belts. Students also demonstrated a selection of judo techniques and participated in a kata demonstration, showcasing the technical skills, discipline, and spirit they have developed through their training. The performances allowed families and guests to appreciate the depth of judo beyond competition, including its traditions, principles, and educational values.
Throughout the season, our judokas have shown commitment, perseverance, and respect both on and off the tatami. Their promotion reflects not only technical progress but also their embodiment of the values that form the foundation of Kodokan Judo.

ルサイルのアル・エグラ・コンパウンド・スポーツホールにて、2026年昇級式を開催しました。
在カタール日本国大使館の山口真紀 臨時代理大使をお迎えし、生徒たちへ新しい帯を授与していただきました。
努力を重ね、昇級を果たしたすべての柔道家の皆さん、おめでとうございます。新しい帯は技術の向上だけでなく、柔道の精神である礼儀・規律・忍耐の証でもあります。
